The lady went back to the US, and she didn't hear from her for a
00:00:03
while. She realized that she wasn't coming back to purchase her products.
00:00:07
So she called her and the lady was a little bit elusive.
00:00:11
She did a research and found out that not only was the lady
00:00:15
Producing the product in the states, she had named it
00:00:20
What? What the woman was selling in Ghana. So She had actually
00:00:24
stolen her idea from her, and the woman
00:00:28
had nothing to do because she hadn't,
00:00:32
she didn't have any IP rights to it. So we we heard of
00:00:36
stories like this and how How people would come up with
00:00:39
ideas, and we're so excited about our ideas. And, of course, we run
00:00:43
on social media. Hey, everyone. Welcome
00:00:47
to the sound of crowd Podcasts, I go by the name of Adrian Daniels.
00:00:51
This is the show where we speak to top Ghanaian founders, entrepreneurs, and
00:00:55
traders worldwide With the aim of leaving you behind are meaningful takeaways
00:00:59
that you can play apply in your life, business, and career.
00:01:02
Today, we are gonna continue the a conversation series. This is a series
00:01:06
where we speak to, we explore the lives, journey, and
00:01:10
celebrate the success of individuals from a Ghanaian heritage or interest in
00:01:14
short and sweet episodes. Today I'm joined by the founder of
00:01:17
Honeam Naturals, Elizabeth Daniels, also known as Nana
00:01:21
Daniels, which is a skincare line for all skin
00:01:24
types That practice sustainable and nontoxic
00:01:28
living. Auntie, how are you doing? Welcome back to the
00:01:32
show. It's been a few years. I'm doing great. I love
00:01:35
the short and sweet. Yeah. I'm doing great.
00:01:40
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, short and sweet because usually, when we do
00:01:43
seasons, episodes tend to be around the hour mark. So the the whole point
00:01:47
of doing this is that we can try and get episodes to run 30 to
00:01:50
40 minute mark. So So we can kind of fit it with within someone's commute.
00:01:54
And then also, it gives people, you know, a bit more
00:01:58
time to just, You know, digest what's going on. So yeah.
00:02:02
So yeah. I know it's been a little while since we had you on the
00:02:05
show back in 2020, all the way in season
00:02:09
1. Wow. And then and then, of course, in late 2022, we had you
00:02:12
sponsor season 4. So thank you very much. So a lot has happened
00:02:16
between those two It's a time point. You're very welcome.
00:02:20
So, auntie, I just wanna go straight into it. So for the sake of new
00:02:24
listeners and for refreshing our our existing audience,
00:02:28
could you share in a nutshell quickly how you started honam naturals and
00:02:32
why you started it?
00:02:35
Yeah. So I started Hunam Naturals in 2017.
00:02:40
It was a project where I was looking for
00:02:44
skincare, and something that was great for
00:02:48
sensitive skin because I live with Lupus and claudema and that
00:02:51
makes me sensitive to lots of products so
00:02:57
I tried different products and they were helpful but
00:03:01
it was a little bit outrageously priced
00:03:05
and I've lived in Ghana, I grew up in Ghana so I
00:03:09
knew the effects of plant based
00:03:14
products and I had Shea butter
00:03:18
I tried Shea butter I mixed it and I used it for my
00:03:22
skin and it did help so I didn't want to change what
00:03:26
I already knew if it works why not do it
00:03:30
so I came up with a line and Everybody
00:03:34
else liked it. So Unam Naturals
00:03:38
was born. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.
00:03:41
And what I always love that story every time I hear it. Even though I've
00:03:45
heard it before, it always gets me every time I hear it. For those of
00:03:49
you that want to listen to the full story, we'll put a a link
00:03:52
below to the season 1 episode so we can hear the full story. We go
00:03:55
into this in a bit more detail, and we talk about lupus a bit more.
00:03:59
But what I like about this auntie is that you talked the adversity that was
00:04:02
happening in your life, which is lupus, the skin disease, And you turn
00:04:06
into an opportunity that you can use to not only help yourself, to get
00:04:10
yourself off medication, but also to improve your skin And to also
00:04:13
improve your life and the life the life of those around you as well and
00:04:17
the lives of those that, you know, that you've never met before. So it was
00:04:20
a powerful product that you've created. And, yeah,
00:04:24
and I'm I'm aware it's been 6 years now, coming up 6 years since you've,
00:04:28
launched the the brand? On 27th. I think that's the next 2
00:04:32
days. Will now be 6 years. My baby's grown.
00:04:36
Oh, wow. Congratulations. Congratulations. Thank you. Yeah. And,
00:04:40
I know since then, you've gone on to do some great things, which we'll Dive
00:04:44
into throughout the episode. So you've gone you've gone on to Walmart
00:04:47
US, United States Mhmm. Warm Walmart Canada. You know,
00:04:51
you're recognized by Google during the Black History Month, and you've
00:04:55
been featured by Walmart on International Women's Day. There there's so
00:04:58
many achievements that that you've that you've achieved, since
00:05:02
Honam started and up to the present day, what would you say are
00:05:06
some of your notable standout achievements that that mean a lot to you
00:05:10
personally? I
00:05:13
think the idea of giving back and
00:05:17
with Well, since I've had I've had lupus for,
00:05:22
a little over 20 years and from day
00:05:26
1, I mean I knew that I
00:05:29
would have to find a way just to, for
00:05:33
awareness to bring People, their awareness of the
00:05:36
disease and definitely through making people
00:05:40
aware of the disease, I've been able to raise funds for Lupus Ontario,
00:05:45
and all those funds would go towards research so that would help people
00:05:49
like me and other people that are going to be diagnosed
00:05:53
and Every May since we had this
00:05:57
ecommerce site, in May, we donate a portion of
00:06:01
our sales to Lofus Foundation. However,
00:06:05
this year, I did something different. I own a tour
00:06:08
company, and I was going on tour to Ghana, and had also
00:06:12
collaborated with a doctor in the north
00:06:16
in tamale and he had started
00:06:20
A clinic, a a urologist clinic, and it was
00:06:24
just based for men. However, he saw
00:06:27
the need of women looking for health care, so
00:06:31
women started going there and he spoke to me about it
00:06:34
and I'd want to liaise with him and see how I could help
00:06:38
so a portion of my sales from
00:06:42
May this year went towards buying things like
00:06:45
hospital gowns for the women as well as gloves and
00:06:49
things that he needed for the hospital. So
00:06:53
In How full. April, I went to the clinic
00:06:57
and had a tour of it, and I just spoke to him last week, and
00:07:01
I can't wait to go. The clinic is now opened and
00:07:06
we're going back again yeah so
00:07:09
my funds I raised for this May went towards
00:07:13
a clinic, and giving back was one of the I
00:07:17
think it's one of my proudest moments. Yeah.
00:07:20
That's that's amazing. And I think it's really it's really awesome that you have
00:07:24
this, social impact side of the business because At the end
00:07:28
of the day, the brand is all about it's all about sustainability.
00:07:32
It's all about making a change socially. So when you're able to kind of,
00:07:35
like, do this In person, like, contribute
00:07:39
socially to different causes. It just shows
00:07:43
another side of the brand, and it really shows, You
00:07:46
know what people are buying into when they buy the HONA
00:07:50
Natural skincare line. So I think this is really, really powerful. And also on
00:07:54
top of that, I mean, Ghana Ghana Healthcare, we all know that it needs a
00:07:57
lot of help, and it's it is getting a lot of help at the moment.
00:08:00
K. But it can never have enough help. There's so much more that needs to
00:08:03
be done, and Just that little contribution you've done is gonna make such an
00:08:07
impact. So I'm really, really pleased to hear about what you're doing with
00:08:10
the Huron Naturals brand. Really, really exciting. And,
00:08:15
talking of sustainability as well, I think you did some stuff with, TJ Maxx,
00:08:19
which is, which is the which is the version of TK Maxx in
00:08:22
United States and Canada. Could you talk us about that experience really quickly as
00:08:26
well? Yeah. So,
00:08:30
honam naturals has been a sustainable
00:08:34
company and the reason is because First of all,
00:08:38
everything that is done with honam goes back to my
00:08:41
lupus and with lupus,
00:08:46
They they don't know the known cause, but, however, they believe that there's
00:08:49
something in the environment that causes lupus. It's still
00:08:53
being researched so that for that little that I know, I
00:08:57
decided to try and live a non toxic life. I
00:09:01
tried to Be very intentional
00:09:05
with my company, so I chose, sustainable
00:09:08
packaging, and I also try as much as
00:09:12
possible to bring anything equal into it.
00:09:16
So anyhow, I had pitched To t j
00:09:19
maxx years ago, years ago, I went into a contest
00:09:23
and I pitched to them to sell my
00:09:27
products there. And during the
00:09:30
pitch I had a gentleman on there who just loved my
00:09:34
products one of the buyers and We're still in
00:09:38
arrangements and we've seen how we can get the products there.
00:09:41
However, he invited me to, and
00:09:45
a sustainable, markets that they usually have
00:09:48
once a year. So they celebrate equal equal month
00:09:52
or something. So they invited me to go and sell and a few
00:09:56
other women from the contest and like t
00:10:00
j maxx has been on the top of my list to
00:10:03
sell there. So I was I it was very exciting,
00:10:07
yeah, to sell there. So that's how it came about. Yeah. It it
00:10:11
is exciting because when you go into a TK Maxx or a T. J. Maxx,
00:10:14
I mean, when you go in towards the counter, you do see a lot of
00:10:17
These type of eco friendly, organic type products, isn't it? So I can
00:10:21
imagine the Harlem Naturals being in there Somewhere in the mix
00:10:25
of it, and I'm sure it'll be amazing for you to get your products rolled
00:10:28
out in there as well as warm up. Okay. Yeah.
00:10:32
Alright. So let's let's let's let's Let's keep our fingers crossed, and let's let's
00:10:36
keep an eye out in terms of what what other stockists that her and her
00:10:39
natural be featured on. Alright. So, auntie, let's talk more about the the
00:10:43
products. We've talked about some of your achievements. We will come back to some of
00:10:46
the achievements that you've, achieved. Let's talk about more about the
00:10:50
products. So right now, we're in the autumn winter season. I've told you
00:10:53
now, you know, the the days are getting shorter, You know, I'm pulling on
00:10:57
warmer clothes now and I'm sure it's the same thing in the US and Canada.
00:11:01
So let's let's talk about, Huronam Naturals, products. So
00:11:05
especially, I think, the the skincare I think the skincare line Mhmm. Especially
00:11:09
the the body butters. So I'm I'm gonna share I'm gonna share the screen now,
00:11:13
and I want you to talk talk us through some of the the body butters
00:11:16
that come back cold weather, because I feel like these are really, really important this
00:11:20
this kind of season. Right? Yeah well
00:11:24
especially when canada we have very very long
00:11:27
winters so Well, when we did the body butters,
00:11:31
we did 2 type of butters. So we've got people with a very,
00:11:35
very oily skin. So this means that they don't need
00:11:38
something very oily so for those who are not seeking oily
00:11:42
butters we have the Hem, We have the
00:11:45
jojoba, and we have the mango. Okay. And for those who
00:11:49
have really, really dry skin like me, I do have very
00:11:53
dry skin. We have the Shea butter, we have the coconuts,
00:11:57
and we have the cocoa. Mhmm.
00:12:01
So around this time basically everybody would fall
00:12:04
into the dry skin so everybody needs
00:12:08
lots of hydration and as much as we say use
00:12:11
our body butters and it's very great for you at the same time we
00:12:15
also would advise people to drink lots of
00:12:19
water and hydrate because that also helps with your skin
00:12:23
and eats foods that
00:12:27
like very good for your skin like fatty acids
00:12:31
fishes with fatty acids and of course it would be wonderful
00:12:35
that you use our, our body
00:12:39
butters. And the body butters is usually great at
00:12:42
when you step out of the shower and whilst your Skin is still damp.
00:12:46
It's best that that's the best time that you put the body butters in so
00:12:50
what happens is it locks the moisture in your skin
00:12:54
So you are able to keep hydrated for
00:12:57
a longer period. Yeah. Again, we add,
00:13:01
vitamin e Mhmm. To all our products. So
00:13:05
vitamin e is very, very great for your skin. We want your skin's
00:13:08
elasticity to stay almost the same.
00:13:12
So even in 60, you could have very very youthful
00:13:15
skin. Mhmm. And so we
00:13:19
have something for everybody
00:13:23
dry skin we have you for eczema we have The Shea
00:13:27
Butters, we also have the Jojoba for somebody
00:13:30
with Rosacea, you have the Jojoba and stuff
00:13:34
and we managed to put all the benefits on the
00:13:38
website, so just go through to figure out which
00:13:41
one would relate to your need Yeah. And, of course, we put
00:13:45
before and after pictures that some of our clients and
00:13:49
customers have shared with us. Yeah. Really, really yeah.
00:13:52
This is, really great stuff. And you can just see the transformation in the
00:13:56
in the skin. Like, with this lady right here, I I don't know if it's
00:13:59
makeup or it's actual skin, but, I mean, you can clearly see even with makeup,
00:14:03
her her skin is actually cleared up. Yeah
00:14:06
she's been a very very wonderful customer I
00:14:10
mean she came to us when her skin was very very severely
00:14:14
damaged Yeah. And now, like,
00:14:18
she's used, and she's a walking testimony
00:14:22
for Hanaum Naturals. Yeah. Fantastic. This is really
00:14:25
fantastic. Yeah. This is really, really fantastic.
00:14:29
Alright. So okay. Great. So in terms of winter,
00:14:34
You've you've you've you've taken us through some of the the products that you're saying
00:14:38
that we should kind of look out for. So and I'm aware
00:14:41
for those for those Who are watching from the UK, you know, there's,
00:14:46
there's shipping. The shipping costs are are quite reasonable, aren't
00:14:49
they? Well, in
00:14:53
Ontario, we do have, anything over
00:14:56
$55 we ship for free. Mhmm. I also
00:15:00
now have a flat rate for shipping to the UK as well
00:15:04
as to to the US,
00:15:07
and We also have the products in
00:15:11
Walmart in the US so you could also go there, you could also come on
00:15:14
my website, Amazon also ships to the US.
00:15:18
Mhmm. And we are looking into coming into the UK,
00:15:22
so we'll see how how it goes.
00:15:26
Fingers crossed. We do have a flat rates shipping rates
00:15:30
to the UK. That's brilliant. So people so the UK
00:15:34
People can order as much as they want at one price for shipping, which is
00:15:37
fantastic. Yeah. Yeah. Great. And I just wanted to,
00:15:41
just wanted to share with the listeners as well, Regarding your blog, you've got a
00:15:44
really great blog. I believe you have shared some amazing tips in
00:15:48
terms of, looking after your your skin and your body. I don't know if there's
00:15:52
anything else that you wanted to add to that.
00:15:57
Well, we also open on, on my social media links. I'm
00:16:01
open for you to send me your questions. I mean, definitely,
00:16:05
it's based on some of the blogs are based on questions that people
00:16:08
keep asking us. So we'll write a blog
00:16:12
that would be able to help others. And one thing that has come up
00:16:15
recently that everybody is requesting for or asking for
00:16:19
more information as the BATANA oil.
00:16:23
And Okay. BATANA oil
00:16:26
is, from the pumpkin nuts.
00:16:31
And a few of our products do have batana oil. Our
00:16:35
black soap, our liquid black soap does have batana
00:16:38
oils in there and batana oils is very
00:16:42
it's known to help with flawless
00:16:45
skin, and it also helps with hair growth. So we're
00:16:49
thinking of maybe having just one line or
00:16:53
just the oils at the moment. We don't have too much oils on the website,
00:16:57
but we're going into having body oils, and I think
00:17:01
we have too at the moment, but batana oil is something that we're going to
00:17:05
be coming up with soon. But batana oil is in
00:17:08
our I happen to have 1 here in our
00:17:12
liquid blood cell. We do have the BATANA oils in there.
00:17:16
Yeah. Okay. Okay. So the so the to so the oil is
00:17:19
available in a liquid black soap black soap, which is available
00:17:23
on the website, isn't Great.
00:17:27
So those of you The Black Sox do have BATANA Oils. Yeah.
00:17:31
Okay. Okay. So this is the one. Right? The one you're holding is this one
00:17:33
right here. Yeah? That's it. Perfect.
00:17:37
Yeah. So you guys know where to head up. You guys know where to where
00:17:40
to go. Hodermnaturals.com. We'll have a we'll have a I believe
00:17:43
we have a discount code for, the podcast listeners where you guys can grab a
00:17:47
discount. So Yes. We'll make sure that'll be in the podcast or YouTube
00:17:51
description below so you guys can grab a discount on your shipping
00:17:55
order wherever you are, in the UK, US, Canada, etcetera. And,
00:17:58
yeah, make sure make sure you get some of that BATANA BATANA oil in
00:18:02
there. Alright. Well, brilliant. I mean I mean, there's so there's so many
00:18:06
products that you do at the moment, And, I think I I just wanted to
00:18:09
emphasize on the, on the skincare
00:18:12
line. But I know recently I think this would be a good
00:18:16
segue. We we did a little collaboration a few months
00:18:19
ago regarding your your the beards, I think, the men's beards
00:18:23
beards, beard management and and beard skincare Line,
00:18:28
would you mind talking talking us briefly through, the men's beard
00:18:32
and grooming line? Because I because I believe we did a campaign together, which was
00:18:35
very, very successful on audio and video.
00:18:41
Yeah. So, recently, I do have
00:18:45
like lots of gentlemen around me. I have Yeah.
00:18:49
Voice of my own, so they all wanted
00:18:53
something. And and having a beard is
00:18:57
like having facial hair, it has to be taken care of just like
00:19:00
your hairs on the hairs on your head and even most
00:19:04
importantly like your beard hair usually you would have
00:19:09
excess foods and stuff on and if it's not if you don't
00:19:12
treat your beard hair well you
00:19:16
could have like rushes on your face and all
00:19:20
that so we came up with this beard kid line we made it
00:19:23
very easy because I know most men are very
00:19:28
there everybody wants something very easy and quick
00:19:32
so we did this 4 4 process kits so you have the shampoo
00:19:38
to wash your beard and then you have the conditioner
00:19:41
just to nourish the hair the hair so you could grow a healthy
00:19:45
beard You have a choice of either going with your beard
00:19:48
oil to finish and brush your beard or you could
00:19:52
go with a beard balm and I find the beard balm
00:19:56
most people like it to like to
00:20:02
I don't know what word they use but how to get your massage
00:20:06
like all prim and proper so we have the be and balm
00:20:10
for that and it's been we've been very very successful
00:20:14
selling those. So we also have things for men, of course. Yeah.
00:20:17
Excellent. Yeah. So so men that are listening or watching, you know, we've
00:20:21
got something for you as well. So make sure you grab The discount code in
00:20:24
the podcast or YouTube description below and get yourself some beard
00:20:28
care products. Alright. Alright. So I think let's,
00:20:32
let's continue the interview. I think that's a little bit about the products, which
00:20:36
is something important that we need to talk about. Right, auntie. So
00:20:40
let's let's talk about more about some of the exciting achievements that that you've done.
00:20:43
So I know you've been traveling around Africa a little bit. You mentioned you went
00:20:47
to Ghana recently and, You know, you with your tour company and
00:20:50
you and you went to the north and you've been able to give back to
00:20:53
some of the the clinics up there, which is fantastic. Let's talk about your trip
00:20:57
to Rwanda as a panelist speaker for the World's Intellectual
00:21:00
Property, event. Congratulations. What was that experience
00:21:04
like, and and how did that come about? Thank you. Oh
00:21:07
my God. It it was it
00:21:11
was very very very exciting and
00:21:14
very empowering as well as learning
00:21:18
new things I know when we all start
00:21:22
we all started a business It was more important to
00:21:25
get products and just to market the products and
00:21:29
sell it, but there was one important thing that
00:21:33
we should all be thinking about and that is to
00:21:38
have your property protected. I happen
00:21:42
to know of importance because
00:21:47
I won an Instagram an Instagram contest
00:21:51
and I happen to have, an investor
00:21:55
and mentored me and the first she had a few things to tell
00:21:59
me but one question she asked was have you trademarked your
00:22:02
company and I was like no and she's like
00:22:06
well you should because it's very very important too
00:22:10
and I didn't ask any questions. I did a bit of research, and of course,
00:22:14
I did trademark my company. So recently, I was
00:22:17
chatting with a friend who works with
00:22:20
WIPO, the intellectual property and whilst
00:22:24
we were talking she asked me she said I hope I see
00:22:28
all the things they are posting on your social media
00:22:31
pages but I hope you've protected your company,
00:22:35
and I said yes I have, and she said oh really, and I said yeah,
00:22:39
so she said okay I need you because,
00:22:43
we're having a conference in Rwanda, and
00:22:46
I need you to be a panelist to come share your story and
00:22:51
also your branding strategies and stuff like that
00:22:55
so prior to that I had auditioned for
00:22:58
dragon's den I auditioned,
00:23:02
twice. So I had just done my 2nd audition, and the 3rd
00:23:06
audition was supposed to happen around the time that
00:23:10
I was going to Rwanda so I sat and I thought
00:23:14
do I want to go to dragon's den which is a good thing
00:23:19
or do I want to go to Rwanda to share the story?
00:23:23
And I thought you know what I'll share the story because then
00:23:27
I could help and not just empower another woman, I could
00:23:30
help another woman in
00:23:34
protecting her company so she doesn't lose the rights to her companies,
00:23:38
so I chose that and it was very
00:23:41
empowering. I did learn a lot from them as well as I'm
00:23:45
hoping they also learned a lot and I continued to learn so after I came
00:23:48
back from that I also trademarked
00:23:52
It's my company in Ghana, and I'm hoping to trademark,
00:23:57
globally as well. Yeah. Excellent. Brilliant.
00:24:01
I'm glad those 2 went well. So what's the importance
00:24:04
of IP for An entrepreneur,
00:24:08
especially, that has physical products, how important is it?
00:24:11
And what are some of the dangers would you say if someone doesn't take
00:24:15
the time to Get into intellectual property
00:24:19
for their own products.
00:24:24
Well there was one story that stuck with me that a
00:24:27
woman shared during the original conference and
00:24:31
she had mentioned she I can't remember what it was but I think she
00:24:35
was into a plants a plant based
00:24:38
gluten free flour and hers was
00:24:42
very unusual because I may have heard about from
00:24:46
other plants, but not a particular plant, and I can't remember what it
00:24:49
was, but she said she had a customer from the US who
00:24:53
had been buying from her and of course when she
00:24:57
started her business and she came up with this plant based
00:25:00
flower, she had researched on the product so they've already
00:25:04
researched, it was already certified, it was already
00:25:08
organic and or the certification she needed to
00:25:11
sell, so she was selling this product and this woman would come
00:25:16
to I think I can't remember if she was from Gambia, So
00:25:19
this lady from the US would come and purchase from her.
00:25:23
So she said one time the woman came and she said, why don't we
00:25:27
go and test it in the US and she said no you don't have to
00:25:30
I've already tested it but if you want to test yours and sell it
00:25:34
that's fine but I've tested it and I have my certification
00:25:38
and this woman had not protected her
00:25:42
her idea so of course
00:25:46
the lady went back to the us and she didn't hear from her for a
00:25:49
while she realized that she wasn't coming back to purchase her products
00:25:53
so she called her and the lady was a little bit elusive.
00:25:57
She did a research and found out that not only was the lady
00:26:01
producing the product in the states, She had named it
00:26:06
Wow. What the woman was selling in Ghana, so she had actually
00:26:10
stolen her idea from her, and the woman
00:26:14
had nothing to do because she hadn't,
00:26:18
she didn't have any IP rights to it. So we we heard of
00:26:22
stories like this and how people would come up with
00:26:25
ideas, and we're so excited about our ideas. And of course we run
00:26:29
on social media and go and post it there and there are people
00:26:34
going on social media looking for ideas like this
00:26:38
They have the money. They quickly go and protect it, and then they
00:26:42
start your company. So before your idea as implemented
00:26:46
by herself, somebody else is doing it. So it's very
00:26:50
very very important you have a unique idea, Please
00:26:54
research and make sure you patent the idea.
00:26:59
Yeah. Absolutely. Get it patented, especially if it's a
00:27:03
I mean, I think both physical and digital products are important, but I think more
00:27:06
so physical as well because it's It's it's me a lot
00:27:10
more at risk, I think, with physical products than digital products.
00:27:14
Wow. Mhmm. That's a pow powerful story. Yeah. Powerful story. Wow.
00:27:18
Thanks thanks for sharing. I mean, thanks for sharing. And and what we'll do is
00:27:21
we'll leave links to the w w IPO's, website in
00:27:25
the in the podcast, in the YouTube description.
00:27:28
Alright. So, this has been a great conversation so far.
00:27:32
What I wanted to wrap up with is, what Would you
00:27:36
say is next for her and her naturals?
00:27:41
Sorry. Can you go over the question again? Yeah. So,
00:27:45
so what I would say is what's what's next for HONAM Naturals?
00:27:49
What's what's what what do you have lined up for the future for HONAM
00:27:52
Naturals?
00:27:57
Well just to continue to look for
00:28:01
more stockist where we could have our products
00:28:07
also We continued to collaborate
00:28:11
with other companies and at this time we
00:28:15
had 2 particular, stores that,
00:28:20
those were the dream stores I I wanted to be. And
00:28:24
just this week, we we're speaking to 1 and
00:28:28
we're hoping our products should be in their stores by Christmas
00:28:33
and we just continue to grow You know? And
00:28:36
we hope to be in everybody's bathroom very soon. Yeah.
00:28:40
So fingers crossed it's gonna be a household name, You know, across the world and,
00:28:44
you know, amongst the diaspora and amongst Ghanaians, you know, worldwide, which is exciting
00:28:48
as well. And I know in the past, you've done some some pop ups in
00:28:51
Ghana, haven't you?
00:28:55
I have, but haven't had one for a long. I'm actually looking
00:28:58
into doing a pop up in London because,
00:29:02
most of my customers are there, and of course,
00:29:06
my my haircare line, which is Sizzled,
00:29:10
I have more customers in London. So,
00:29:15
I'm looking into having a pop up there very soon, sometime
00:29:19
next year. Yeah. When it makes sense. Yeah. And I can probably see you
00:29:22
selling alongside, you know, you know, other kind of
00:29:26
African Black sellers as well, maybe in in one of these, you
00:29:30
know, markets where they're selling, you know, black owned products. I can see you in
00:29:33
one of those one of those areas, and I think your products Would would gel
00:29:37
really nice really nicely in those in those kind of, selling
00:29:40
environments. Yeah. Okay. Brilliant. Now we
00:29:44
just joined a few groups. So I think Mhmm. I'm
00:29:47
on Black Economy in the UK. Yeah. I
00:29:51
joined a few of those companies. So Mhmm. Yeah. So I'm sure
00:29:55
there's lots of people in there that you'd be able to,
00:29:58
network with and, you know, maybe collaborate Just to help sell your
00:30:02
products, and I'm sure I'll be able to give you some more contacts and groups
00:30:05
as well when the time comes.
00:30:09
Excellent. Excellent. Well, this is really exciting. It's
00:30:12
