[00:00:11] [SPEAKER_03]: So I think what is most important is being authentic. And we heard that over and over again in this type of, you know, these types of scenarios.
[00:00:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So I just try to be myself and try to take it easy. And I try to be truthful because people also enjoy seeing the real side of me or whoever they follow, right?
[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_03]: So I just try to be authentic and I think that's what people are drawn to because they can relate to me, right?
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Like they can relate to my messy hair or they can relate to, you know, grocery shopping. It sounds really trivial, but those are things that most normal people participate in, right?
[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_03]: So I think that's a factor as well. So, you know, if you're going to be an influencer or anything in that realm,
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I think being authentic is definitely the number one thing to try to do. And as well, when you aren't authentic, you can't keep it up, right?
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_03]: If you're not being yourself, how can you maintain not yourself to get it, right? It's almost like living a lie and eventually you'll get drained
[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_03]: and you'll be tired of trying to keep up something that isn't true.
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not sustainable, is it?
[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not sustainable, right? So just being yourself through and through. And I mean, even saying that, there are some things that I do want to improve upon or change about myself.
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's almost like bringing them on that journey with me to become a better version of myself. So it's not that I'm changing into someone else, but you know, as people evolve, right?
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_03]: So just a natural progression of life and people like that. So all of that.
[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_00]: That's wonderful. I think you're right because you see other creators in this space, at least maybe in Ghana at least, like Misdru, Della, you know, when you see their vlogs, they don't just share the highlights, they share the downs and the bad stuff that they go through.
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And people can relate to that. And it's like you're going on a journey with them. And if it's just highs, it feels artificial. It doesn't really feel organic.
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't resonate.
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. Because you know, we see, look at some people's maybe Instagram profiles and it just looks too perfect. Like you want to see people like, you know, with a chip in your eye in the morning or that morning look, you know, people want to see that because if it's just too perfect, then it's like, are you people start to question are you even real?
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I guess it's that kind of thing.
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And how long have you been vlogging for?
[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I've been doing it for about 10 years now.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Consistency.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. Well, at times I haven't been as consistent. It's been 10 years. So I've definitely had a moment or two where I've just, you know, been to myself and haven't necessarily posted as often as I would.
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, you know, during my pregnancy, I didn't actually post much at all.
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know, that's understandable because your body's changing. You're carrying a baby. You're tired, right?
[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_03]: So I took a break at that time, but then I've also been posting since he's been born.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So I've been working nonstop since he's been born in. It's catching up on me.
