ABOUT YAA
Yaa is a multiple award-winning professional and the founder of Talking Drums Travel & Marketplace. She started Talking Drums following her passion for Africa, its development and her frequent (largely solo!) travel throughout her land of origin. She has been fortunate to have since travelled all four corners of the Motherland, from North, South, East West, and not forgetting Madagascar. Everywhere has been different, with its own unique charm and experience. Through Talking Drums, she hopes to inspire others to do the same.
Outside of Talking Drums, her experience includes working across the public, private and non-profit sectors, specialising in sustainability, and environmental, social & governance (ESG).
