KEY TAKEAWAYS

Mika wants to explore what Ghana has to offer beyond the entertainment scene. She’s had a desire to bring MTV Base to Ghana following their establishment in South Africa and Nigeria. She’s been a host of a couple of well know UK-based Radio Stations and even got approached to contribute to one in Ghana. Mika is passionate about putting unheard creatives on the map in Ghana, and has interviewed now well-known artists such as Davido, Jidena, Burna Boy and Shatta Wale. It’s her desire for creatives in the UK, Africa and especially Ghana, to fulfil their potential and fairly be able to earn a living from the fruits of their labour. Mika joins the likes of creatives including Danny Wonders, who set out to attract more attention to the beauty and creativity, break the typical stereo type of Africa and raise up a new generation of creatives that can challenge the West.
